Mr. Krasulick most recently served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Emcore Corporation’s Fiber Optics division and as a board member of Langfang Emcore Optoelectronics Ltd. Prior to joining Emcore, Mr. Krasulick was a member of the Executive Management team of Optium Corporation, which successfully achieved an IPO in 2006. Mr. Krasulick has also held senior management positions in JDS Uniphase Corporation, and began his career as an engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories.

Lisa Albrecht

Co-Founder, Vice President Operations

Ms. Albrecht brings to Skorpios over 15 years of business operations experience. Before founding Skorpios, she served as Manager of Human Resources at Emcore Corporation. In addition to managing the corporate HR activities, Ms. Albrecht was a key member of the team leading the integration of the acquired assets of Intel’s Optical Platform Division into Emcore’s Fiber Optics Division. Ms. Albrecht has worked for three different venture-funded start-up companies in various operational roles. In addition to her start-up experience, Ms. Albrecht has held operational roles at both Honeywell and Nextel Communications. Ms. Albrecht has a B.S. from Kansas State University.

DAMIEN LAMBERT
Damien Lambert

Chief Technical Officer

Dr. Lambert brings to Skorpios over 25 years of experience in III-V crystal growth, III-V wafer fabrication, Silicon wafer fabrication, MEMS and die fabrication. His experience includes fabrication of photonic components such as lasers, gratings, multiplexers, EAM modulators, MZ modulators, and photodiode detectors. Over the last 11 years, Dr. Lambert has been leading various organizations at Skorpios, including process integration, process engineering, process development, manufacturing, and operation teams. Before joining Skorpios, Dr. Lambert worked at Infinera, Inc. where he was responsible for management and technical leadership in the manufacturing of compound semiconductor Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC). Dr. Lambert was a key member of the technical team leading the development and integration of new generation of PICs including design, fabrication, and performance analysis. He helped transfer the technology from development to high volume manufacturing. Dr. Lambert has contributed more than 70 journal articles, book chapters and conference talks. Dr. Lambert has contributed more than 70 journal articles, book chapters and conference talks. He holds more than 30 granted US patents and has a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin.

David Huff

SVP Sales and Marketing

Huff is a veteran of the optics and semiconductor industries, with more than 25 years of experience ranging from RF photonics to high-speed semiconductors. He has broad industry experience with sales, marketing, and business development roles in optical networking, wireless, cable TV, defense, and aerospace. Most recently, Huff led sales and business development at Nanowave Technologies, an RF technology firm. Prior experience includes roles at Ortel (now Emcore), T-Networks (now part of Broadcom) and Multilink Technologies, two of which had successful Initial Public Offerings. Huff earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.

Iain Black

VP of Operations/Site Head Temecula

Until recently, Black was the Senior VP of Operations for Emcore Corporation, joining in May of 2017, and managed operations in InP & MEMs wafer Fab, component and systems business. He has over 30 years of semiconductor industry experience, the last 23 in compound semiconductors serving the RF, Photonics and LED industries. Previously he spent 8 years with Philips Lumileds, a leading LED manufacturer, where he served as VP of US Operation and of Worldwide Manufacturing Engineering, during a period of explosive growth in the LED industry. Prior to Lumileds, he was at Anadigics for 8 years managing GaAs Wafer Fab Engineering and Operations including directing supply chain and the construction of a Wafer Fab facility in mainland China.

Mr. Black has a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Dundee in Scotland. He served 5 years as Co-Chair of the SEMI standards committee for LED and on the National Research Council committee for the assessment of Solid-state Lighting
